I am thinking of buying a used Compaq Presario 1220 and need to know some things.?
I'm buying a used laptop is a Compaq Presario 1220, and is operational and is Windows 98. My question is, I will be able to update the OS to say maybe ?…. Windows Me or XP as what is the best we can put in this type of equipment? I'm not sure what those things are and not have the money to buy a new laptop. But would not the laptop already has these about him to run Win98?
You can upgrade to Windows XP, but first you have to install things like hard drive, RAM, sound card, video card. The best thing to do would be to "buy a new computer" =]
