Can I install Windows XP Pro on ThinkPad notebooks Windows Vista x60 already installed?
I have a notebook ThinkPad X60 and have installed Windows Vista Business already but the problem is that I can install my program due to compatibility issues with Windows vista.So, I shrug my separate hard drive with capacity 5Gigabytes what is enough for Windows XP to be installed. When I boot my laptop with XP installation disc to install XP, it does boot, but later, the pop-ups blue screen, as it crashed. He says "that has a virus and can not find the hard drive. blablablablablabla.How that could be my notebook is really new and how is it that you can not find the hard drive if you can start to Vista. I tried many times but still the same. It is the record that has a problem, because I tested on my desk and it really works. So, can you help about installing Windows XP Pro so you can run my program and it's really important for my work. Indeed, using the external DVD-ROM in this operation. thanks, Hope you can help me
Generic XP CD will not work due to driver issues. You must use XP Pro recovery disks of the ThinkPad. Lenovo's purchase. Then wait for the Vista version of the program required.
