Can anyone help me with my lap top?
OK, first things first, I know nothing about computers so please keep it simple! Basically, I have a laptop, about 2 / 3 years old now, a fairy-based Packard Bell model bought in PC World. All I know is that it has "Easy Note" written near the mouse pad. I'm about to start my PhD studies at the University and could do with giving the old thing a bit more force, basically as a trial of 10,000 words with many photos not going to cover things, what with all my music and videos on there too. Also I'm toying with the idea of doing something about the graphics, because there are a couple of old games that I go to enjoy long periods of boredom! (Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine!) Thus, in Laymans terms, what can I do with a shoestring budget and are the best people to see? Thanks a load!
I go to Best Buy or PC computer store in the world and might be able to help. All I know from experience that web sites to go and what you need. To write essays, do not need that big of a failure, but a good size hard drive. Sometimes a document with a lot of pictures and graphics may take a plenty of space …. so if you are thinking of doing a lot of writing and the creation of large projects, then I suggest you look into getting a hard drive larger, or at least an external drive to maintain security documents. It is very easy to install as well. Then you need a good graphics card so you can play these games with good graphics. If you do not have a good graphics card, the game can not even begin or can freeze up and placed in you. Try going to http://www.newegg.com or http://www.amazon.com and seek 64 MB or 128 MB graphics card that is compatible with your system. NVIDEA or ATI RADEON recommend that tend to be Very Good when it comes to playing games graphics. In total, you may need to spend at least $ 200 – $ 300 for all the hardware needed to support what you do with your laptop. If that's the case, I just want get a new laptop, but if you really like the team we have, then you may want to try and get the hardware and the minimum requirements to play. If you can play comfortably, then I wouldnt worry about creating and testing records in the system.
